ARCODEV Architects is a full-service architectural firm, providing architectural, construction and development services nationwide for over 20 years. Norm Herman founded ARCODEV in 1988 and remains the current lead architect for the firm. ARCODEV’s initial concept was to return to a Master Builder approach to architecture. It approached each project from the owner’s point of view, taking the client’s vision, making it our own and seeing the project through to completion. This hands-on approach led us to provide not only architectural services, but development and construction services that ensure the success of each project. Previous projects include retail tenant finish, office buildings, automotive fueling stations, car washes and automotive repair facilities. |

During the late 1990’s, ARCODEV partnered with The Derose Companies to develop and construct multi-facility automotive concepts throughout the US. Combining the skills and experience of ARCODEV with the strong development expertise of The Derose Companies allowed us to build on our existing portfolio. As partners, we developed local retail centers that included multi-tenant retail buildings, individual retail, fast food and convenience pads, as well as automotive service and wash facilities. During the 3-year partnership, we were able to produce key developments around the country. |

By 2001, the MFC concept was well established and ARCODEV left to pursue ongoing architectural opportunities in the automotive industry. Currently, ARCODEV operates out of its office in Littleton, CO. With two full-time licensed architects and one administrative staff member, we continue to focus on the automotive repair and wash facilities industry. We are currently the corporate architect for various automotive replica swiss watches companies including Big O Tires, Midas International, Brakes Plus and Grease Monkey. Norman L. Herman |

Norm Herman is the principal and owner of ARCODEV. He has worked in the architectural, construction, and development industries since graduating from the University of Nebraska in 1972. He has experience on a wide range of project types including offices, automobile service centers, warehouses, educational buildings, shopping centers, institutional buildings, automobile dealerships, commercial retail interiors, tenant finish, single and multi-family residential buildings, etc.. Although some of this work is in Denver, an equally large portion has been performed outside of the state of Colorado. This has necessitated the development of excellent communication skills with clients, contractors, and building officials across the United States. This has widened his experience level and given him the very important skills to monitor the quality and costs of construction of architectural projects.
