DESCRIPTION:
Located within a 100-year flood plain, this project required a layout conforming to the specific site requirements set forth by the City of Denver. The resulting layout required each bay to shift towards the street, creating a staggered pattern in the building. In addition to the floodplain issue, the bays themselves were required to be screened from the north. A "storefront" was constructed on the north end, rather than a simple masonry wall. Used as signage, the storefront became a significant design feature.

There are four self-service bays and one automatic bay.
